Top 8 Questions

Why should I consider Club Red?

Club Red is about more than volleyball. Please don't take that the wrong way as we love to train, teach and of course win but we know volleyball is just a small portion of the average young ladies life. We strive to offer more than just volleyball. We believe in training the whole mind. We teach the game from both aspects so that every athlete can find success be it physically or mentally. We also have mandatory community service - it is important to give back and we do more than talk about it we make it happen.

What teams are offered and how much do they cost?

Club volleyball, in general, is an expensive endeavor for families. We strive to keep costs to a minimum while paying our coaches well for their expertise and travel to tournaments. The cost for being on a team will include out of region hotel stay, uniforms, practice shirts, team bag as well as transportation to either Junior Nationals, Phoenix or AAU which ever applies to the team in question.

What's included in dues?

Training: 3 training sessions per week for all Red teams on non playing weekends. 2 training sessions per week for all White and Black teams.
Tournaments: Region (Jan-Apr), 1-2 Qualifiers, 2 Out-of-state (Jan/May), AAUs or Junior National Championships or Volleyball Festival
Travel: Safe hotels for all non-region tournaments; AAU's, Junior National Championships or Volleyball Festival
Gear: Jerseys (2), Spandex (2), T-shirts (2), Socks(2), Warm-ups (1), and Bag
Recruiting: Group and individual assistance & advice to help student athletes reach their collegiate goals

What tournaments will we attend?
We will compete from January to April in the Carolina Region tournaments. The Red and some White teams will attend two medium-sized Virginia tournaments in January and May. Our ultimate goal is to compete at Junior Nationals to be held at the end of June - July. To get there, we will have to qualify at a National Qualifier or the Region Qualifier. Training and entry fees for all of these tournaments are included, so there will be no added cost later in the season.
